Here is my reality
I am an introverted empath and I dread groups and speaking in groups. Large groups of people make me anxious and nervous. I never get a chance to ever be heard and I am too nervous to speak! Not to mention that English isn’t my first language, so I’m always trying to keep speaking straight in my head before words even come out.
I had stress related ailments - TMD, high blood pressure, anxiety, mostly stemming from my job as an elementary school teacher. I loved being a teacher, but being in close proximity to 30 little souls daily, as an empath, was very draining!
I went down a rabbit hole of spiritual awakening and decided to get reiki certified so that I had the skills to perform it on myself and also wanted to perform it on my loved ones who could benefit as well. I sought out a wonderful reiki instructor and did all the training with her… but while wonderful experiences, I still had the anxiety, the stress, had to face group discussions and get nervous at the thought of sharing my feelings, intimate meditative experience, and traumas to strangers. It was a lot!
I ended up getting my reiki mastership and advanced reiki training, all from the same beautiful soul. And then I decided to create a course online for introverts like me who could learn this great healing modality in a safe space, in the comfort of their home without the anxiety and stress I had to face with in-person classes. How long will it take to complete my certification?
In person, I teach this as a weekend class, about 9 hours per day. I’ve always felt this is a bit rushed for some people so expect to complete your course in about 24-30 total hours.
What happens after I hit the buy button?
You’ll be added to our group Facebook page to meet all your fellow reiki brothers and sisters. You’ll have an account created for you with the Center for Reiki training to access your manual. An email will be sent with your course modules and you can begin!
Will I have a legitimate Reiki certification after I am through with the course?
YES! Cely, her practice, and her business, including this course is affiliated with the Reiki Membership Association from the International Center for Reiki Training, which sets this course apart from others.
